The Student Attendance Management System is a web-based application designed to simplify and automate the student attendance process using QR Code technology. By scanning a unique QR Code, the system records attendance quickly, accurately, and efficiently, eliminating the need for manual attendance tracking while reducing human error and fraudulent attendance practices.
The system is developed using the Flask framework and follows a RESTful API architecture, enabling seamless communication between the frontend and backend while supporting future integration with mobile applications or third-party systems. All API endpoints are tested using Postman to ensure reliability, consistency, and proper functionality.
In addition to attendance recording, the system maintains organized attendance records, provides comprehensive attendance reports, and offers statistical insights that help teachers and school administrators monitor student attendance effectively.
